A blog is a fantastic way to chronicle your thoughts about adoption, whether you're a pre-or post-adoptive parent, a birth/first parent, an adopted person, or an adoption professional.
In the October issue of Adoption World e-zine, we'll profile several adoption bloggers and provide tips about how to get started blogging.
If you'd like your blog to be included or you want to nominate your favorite adoption blogger, e-mail me your responses to the following questions:
- Blog's name:
- Blog URL (address):
- Your blog's primary reader:
- One-sentence description of your blog:
- How often do you update your blog, on average?
- What do you enjoy most about adoption blogging?

I agree. I think that blogging about adoption is a catharsis for the person doing it. I keep trying to talk my friends into doing that.
They're going through the adoption process right now. It's getting tough for them. The only easy part was getting their paperwork done through the Rapid Adoption Web site. Other than that, it's been draining. I wish that they would follow your advice.

I think that Lori's right. I wish more people would share their stories. I think that it would help them deal.
P.S. Lori, I checked out that site. Not bad.

I have had my adoption blog for over a year now and I can say that it has been invaluable to me. There is a wonderful community of parents who have been a tremendous source of information and support. We pass around the latest information that is happening in the adoption world. We pray for each other. We have on-line baby showers. It just is a tremendous network. I would encourage anyone who is going through an adoption to create a blog.

Thanks, Kimberley. Love your idea of online baby showers. How does that work?
