Wow! That's beautiful. I had to share this one on my blog as well. Thanks for sharing!

Today,Feb 19th,2008 is my Grandsons 1st birthday, I think, if my daughter wasn't lying..she let me know Thanksgiving of 2006 that she was pregnant and had no intentions of keeping the baby, I didn't believe her, I just thought she was being dramatic. I thought I had talked her into keeping the baby, she has 2 other sons, why not keep #3? Well, on March 1st of 2007, my husband went to see one of her other sons in a school play, I was sick, and couldn't attend, but... she wasn't pregnant anymore. She had given away her son, without my knowledge. Oh,how I grieved...like he had died...my heart was broken. I never got to touch, to hold,to see, to smell, his little body.I didn't know where he was or anything.I held a little Cabbage Patch baby and cried and cried for days.
I was so out of it...but,one day after church, we stopped to get a bottle of water at a Circle K. This young man asked my husband if he wanted tickets to the Mark Schultz concert at a church across the street and he accepted. I was still so sad, but, I thought , well, I really like Mark's music and maybe God wanted me to cheer up. A few songs into his set, he starts saying that he was adopted at 2 weeks old and what wonderful parents and life he has...I had to go out into the lobby and cry...I knew then that God was letting me know he is going to be alright. I still miss him, I have heard his name is Jonathan, in Pennsylvania. Today has been very hard for me, as were all the Holidays. I want him to know his Granny loves him. After the concert , I got to meet Mark and tell him what his words and music meant to me that night, and he hugged me(twice) and he was so nice. So, Jonathan, honey, wherever you are, your Granny in Louisiana loves you and hopes you have a very Happy Birthday.XXXOOO
