A Love Like No Other: Stories From Adoptive Parents, was reviewed in Sunday's San Francisco Chronicle. 

The reviewer, Kate Washington, explains that 20 writers of this new collection "are a diverse bunch, including single, married and divorced parents, gays and lesbians. Their families, too, include just about every configuration imaginable: There are blends of adopted and biological kids, children adopted domestically, international adoptions from Kazakhstan to Cambodia, disabled kids, those adopted at birth and as older children. There's something here for almost any adoptive parent to identify with."

Washington calls the book "a rewarding read for adoptive parents."

A feature article that interviews the book's editors, Jill Smolowe and Pamela Kruger, was published by Newhouse News Service. In the article, Smolowe says that the book doesn't offer advice; rather, it shares "experiences, conundrums and debates, and makes people feel more comfortable discussing the issues."
