Adopting After Infertility

There's a heartwarming column in Sunday's Detroit News, written by adoptive dad, James B. Teela. Anybody who has experienced fertility challenges and then gone on to adopt will relate to his story.

Kudos to The Detroit News for allowing Teela to not only share his story, but to relate how his Christian faith impacted his adoption journey.

My wife and I followed that same path. We worried that we would not feel the same about an adopted child. Now we have a boy by adoption who is 4, and a girl by a surprise pregnancy of our own who is almost 2, and I can say without doubt that they are both our children. The way God made our family was miraculous with both children.
